WSRMP’s Loss Control Incentive Program is a comprehensive risk management program that provides members the opportunity to take control of their own risks and at the same time be rewarded for implementing “best practices”. The objective of this program is to encourage members to control losses through developing and implementing safety programs for specified critical operations. The primary tool developed to assist in this effort is the Risk Assessment Survey or RAS. The measure of the district’s successful implementation is the final score on the RAS, with the reward of fewer claims, better educated staff and students, and a percentage credit off of the districts’ renewal premium! Each year WSRMP selects a new subject for assessments (we are now in our 8th year of this program).
